Jowita Przystał (born 22 August 1994) is a Polish dancer and choreographer. She is best known for winning the second series of the BBC One dance competition The Greatest Dancer, alongside her partner Michael Danilczuk. In 2021, she joined Strictly Come Dancing as a professional.

Jowita Przystal and her partner Michael Danilczuk are both professional dancers. Michael began taking Latin ad ballroom dance classes since he was seven.
By 14, the proficient dancer had bagged the junior Polish Championships. Correspondingly, Jowita also took different dance classes from the age of 6.
However, unit age 12, her parents took her to ballroom classes when she met Michael.
The love birds met at a dance summer camp in Krakow, Poland in 2013. Jowita and Michael initially weren’t fond of each other, yet they began to love each other with time .

They have represented Poland in several national as well as international competitions. Jowita and Michael claimed the Polish Open Latin Champions winner in 2014.

Przystał was born in Kraków, Poland. She began taking dance lessons at the age of six, followed by ballroom lessons aged eleven.

Przystał met her competitive partner Michael Danilczuk in 2013 at a dance summer camp in Kraków, and after one year of partnership they began a relationship. They have represented Poland in National and International competitions. In 2014 they became Polish Open Latin Champions. In 2015, they joined Burn the Floor and have since travelled around the world, performing on cruise ships. Przystał and Danilczuk have also performed in Broadway musical productions such as Legally Blonde, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Rock of Ages. They moved to London in 2019 to pursue a career in the United Kingdom.
The Greatest Dancer
In 2020, Przystał and Danilczuk auditioned for The Greatest Dancer, where they performed a Latin routine to a medley of “Lollipop”/”Rock Around the Clock”/”Hey! Baby”/”Jump, Jive an’ Wail”. The pair were mentored by Oti Mabuse and reached the final where they went on to win the series. They also performed on the eighteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Strictly Come Dancing
On 26 July 2021, Przystał was announced as one of four new professional dancers joining the nineteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, however her partner Danilczuk did not make the cut, which he expressed disappointment about. Upon joining the show, Przystał described joining Strictly as her “biggest dream come true” and said she was “beyond excited to be joining the Strictly Come Dancing family and I can’t wait to give all of my heart and soul on that dance floor. Przystał will be competing against Oti Mabuse, her former mentor on The Greatest Dancer.
