Janelle Meyer Obituary – Janelle Meyer, 34 died on October 31, 2021 in Sherwood Park, AB.
Janelle was peacefully reunited with her two beautiful angel babies and is predeceased by her grandfather Ernest Horvath and grandmother Ann Meyer. She is survived by her loving parents, Bob and Gail Meyer; her brothers and families: Jason (Melissa), Lillian; Brad (Janelle), Jennie and Evelyn; Jeff (Kayla), Linkoln and Lexi; grandmother Jennie Horvath; grandfather Robert Meyer; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many very special friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Janelle loved so many people and touched them with her infectious smile, strong will, determination, supportive words and witty humour. She always enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephew whom she loved and adored. Her dogs, Shelby and Nova, were the center of her world, treasuring her time with them especially at the dog parks or at a lake. Being as easy going and the social butterfly Janelle was, she loved visiting, having a Starbucks with a puppachino of course for her girls and chatting with anyone she met. Janelle loved camping, quadding, concerts, working out and spending time in nature, in the mountains or at the lake. She dedicated her life to the service of others and her community as a member of the RCMP and then as an emergency communications officer for the RCMP in both SK and AB. Her end of watch as a dispatcher was with Edmonton Police Service. Throughout her career, she has made many lifelong, loving friends who will miss her dearly.
Donations in her memory may be made to Wounded Warriors Canada (for Emergency Communication Officers in AB and SK) or a dog rescue or shelter of your choice.
At her request, a private gathering will be held at a later date for her family to lay her to rest. Rest easy, Janelle.
